We often attribute PKDs (Perfect Kamp Days) to those warm, sunny Maine summer days. There is still much beauty at Kohut, however, even when the weather is less than ideal for basking in the sun. Yesterday proved just that.

With the steady pitter-patter of raindrops accompanied by songbirds chirping through the reverberant still air, yesterday’s natural soundtrack was spectacular!

How many bird calls can you identify? Have you ever discerned the difference between the sound of rain falling on an oak tree versus a pine tree?

Turn up your speakers or put on a pair of headphones and enjoy!
