With high school graduations and ceremonies cancelled or gone virtual due to the ongoing pandemic, we at Kamp Kohut wanted to give our former kampers some well-earned recognition for completing this educational milestone. We asked them to fill us in on what they’ve been up to and/or are planning post-graduation. Below is what they (or their proud parents) have told us.

The Kohut Family is so proud of the achievements of these young men and women. We look forward to following their future successes!

Wyatt Westlake will be attending Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He’ll be in the Klein School of Communications. Wyatt continues to host a weekly radio show on the Tufts University station WMFO. His show, called Replay Value, is on Mondays at 5!

Cate Levy is headed to Wesleyan University In Middleton, CT next year. She may take a Gap semester to work for Stacey Abrams/Fair Fight Ga and then do a political internship experience in New Zealand! Cate is focused on Theater, Political Science, and Gender Studies. She was honored to win the Lawrenceville School History, English, and Religious Studies Outstanding Student prizes. Cate headed up the Young Dems Club and worked collaboratively with the Young Republicans to get every eligible graduating student registered to vote. She also headed up the Jewish Students Union. Cate remains in touch with many of her Kohut buddies, particularly Jackie Benjes!

Miami, Florida native Eli Graff will be attending Duke University majoring in Political Science. Throughout high school, Eli excelled academically. Eli was in the top 1% of his graduating class and was president of his school’s National Honor Society. Eli was also class Treasurer for his school for four years. Outside of school, Eli coached a recreational basketball team for three years.

Lourdes Solivaros is excited to be attending Iona College in New Rochelle, NY majoring in Nursing. In times like these, we are grateful for students like Lourdes who are choosing this all-important career. We hope one day to have her return to Kohut as a Kamp Nurse!
