Summer 2006 marked Kamp Kohut's 100th summer season. We would like to say
Thank You to our alumni and their families who attended our Centennial Celebration
and made it a wonderful success.
Kamp is all ready to greet our current and past Kamp Families as they arrive
for a weekend of celebration!
The weekend is full of Kamp Kohut activities. Parents and campers were all
able to sign up for many games and events including baseball, softball and
of course the Waterfront was open!
What good gathering is complete without good food? A welcome
reception and buffet dinner were among a few of the weekend highlights.
A Kohut Dance was in full swing (and 2-step, and fox-trot, and several others) well into
the night!
With the help of our good friend Captain Tom and Lucky Catch Lobster, we had a
good classic Maine Clambake! Lobster, mussels, corn, and tons of fixings enjoyed in the great
outdoors at kamp.
Some old camp movies (from the days of 16mm) were revived for viewing and
reminiscing.
