Rory – Media and Sales Director
A year-round member of the Kohut Leadership Team, Rory works with both the Media and Sales Departments. He got his start at Kohut teaching Music, Baseball, and Outdoor Education and eventually became the Director of Outdoor Education before transitioning into the Media Department. Rory has both a Bachelor and Masters of Arts in Musicology from Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music and McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Connor – Photography and Assistant Media Director
Returning for his third summer at Kohut, Connor teaches both darkroom and digital photography. Connor has his BA Honors Degree in Photography from the City of Glasgow College. He is pursuing a career in freelance photography back from in Scotland in the off-season.
Greg – Film/Videography
Greg has just finished his sophomore year at Cleveland State University where he majors in Film, Television, and Interactive Media. Greg does not discriminate in his love for film and has a passion for all types – fiction, documentary, news, comedy, you name it. Greg works on every angle of videography including history, technique, filming, editing, and more. Greg also writes for Cleveland State’s “Arts & Culture Magazine” where he shares movie reviews and insight with students and faculty alike. In addition to attending school full-time Greg also works at a local movie theater where he is able to help moviegoers and watch unlimited movies himself! Growing up, Greg was a Boy Scout and spent countless summers camping and visiting his extended family on a lake in rural Minnesota. Greg has four sisters, including three older sisters who have children ranging in age from 1 – 7 years old. Greg is an excellent uncle and spends as much time with his nieces and nephews as possible. In high school Greg was heavily involved in the marching band where he played the tuba.
Sean – Photography
A Photography major at Coventry University in England, Sean is highly skilled in darkroom, digital, and videography techniques. He is passionate about the work he does, which is an extremely wide range of subjects including London Fashion Week, ice hockey, university events, friends, family, and more. His experience with all different types of cameras and film – including 35mm, medium, and large – and editing software will be a great addition to our Media Department this summer. Also, Sean is a very talented ice skater and is the president of his university’s ice skating society. Sean looks forward to working with our Kohut kampers this summer sharing his love of photography.
